Adam Sikora (born in 1960 in Mikolów) is a graduate of the Cinematography Department at Lódz Film School. He won the main award at the Cracow Festival (Polish Film Competition) in 2006 for his documentary Corpus Christi. In 2005 at the Independent Screening of Documentary Forms "Nurt" he received the Polish Television Chairman Award for "compelling picture of humanitarian catastrophe in a small Silesian town symbolizing degradation of the man without work and life resources". In 2001 he won the Silver Frog at the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage for cinematography of Angelus directed by Lech Majewski. He was a director of photography for Lech Majewski's films The Roe's Room, Wojaczej, Angelus. He has directed many documentary films and has been a laureate of many festival awards. The realizer of cultural programmes of Polish Television, among others The Garden of Arts and Conversations on the new age. The author of numerous photograph exhibitions.
