Tamar Yarom was born in Jaffa, Israel. In 1995 she earned her Bachlor's Degree in Psychology from The Jerusalem Hebrew University. She has graduated from The London Film School in 1999, and has been directing for TV since and teaching in different institutions. Her film Sob Skirt, has won the 'Best Television Drama Award' in The Haifa International Film Festival 2002.
